STEP 1 CONSULTATION:

The purpose of your initial consultation with the chiropractor is to discuss your health goals. We understand that each patient is an individual and needs a customized treatment plan that fits their needs. You will complete a health history questionnaire to identify injuries or accidents that may have led to your current condition(s). We ask questions and listen carefully, then discuss and identify how to rehabilitate the area so function is restored.

STEP 2 EXAM:

The doctor(s) will complete a comprehensive chiropractic exam based on the information gathered during your consultation. You will be guided through a series of simple movements and non-invasive tests (such as range of motion, posture, and sEMG muscle scans), which are designed to uncover the source of any pain or discomfort. If needed, the doctors will perform neurologic and orthopedic testing to further assess the causes of your symptoms. This establishes a baseline from which progress will be measured over the course of your treatment plan. X-rays are often required at this stage.*

*X-ray fee applies if clinical indication exists.

STEP 3 EXPLANATION OF EXAM FINDINGS:

On day two, the doctor(s) will present a report of findings, which includes their analysis of your exam and X-rays, along with a recommended customized chiropractic care plan tailored to your unique body and condition(s) and that works with your schedule, budget, and goals. You will also discuss insurance coverage (if applicable) and payment options. At this time you have the option to receive your first spinal adjustment.

STEP 4: YOUR PATH TO OPTIMAL PHYSICAL HEALTH:

To return your body to optimum physical health, you will be an active participant in your treatment plan. The doctor will modify the plan as you progress through care depending on your body’s response to the treatment. Contact Advanced Healthcare in Fort Collins today to get started!
