Phases of Care

PHASE 1 –Feel Better

Relief Care

3-5 Visits per week

Goal: reduce pain and provide relief of symptoms (This often requires more
frequent visits)

During these visits we focus on:

  • reducing inflammation
  • reducing muscle spasms
  • increasing range of motion

It is common for most people to seek chiropractic are to get relief from PAIN. In this
phase the visits are more frequent to aid this process and additional therapies may
be recommended.

  • Cold laser
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Decompression
  • Kinesio Taping
  • Dry Needling
  • Ultrasound
  • Electrical Stimulation
  • Nutrition

Now that the initial symptoms have subsided, it is time to use adjustments, active
exercises or other modalities to create strength and stability within the spine. While
your symptoms may be reduced or even gone completely after Phase 1, damage to
the structure and soft tissue likely remain and will require Phase 2 and 3 to provide
a lasting spinal correction.

PHASE 2 – Move Better

Active Rehabilitation

  • Improving the overall function of the affected area

Once your condition has stabilized the objective is to stabilize spinal function and promote healing. Muscles and soft tissue of the spine are strengthened during this stage of care.

PHASE 3 – Get Stronger

Stabilize/Strengthen
